XXX Featherweight Cardigan Knit-A-Long at LYS
The Featherweight Cardigan is a really quick, easy knit and will be ready for wearing on cooler evenings this summer, or, the air conditioned office. HOMEWORK before cast on party: Knit a gauge swatch to get gauge requirements for pattern which is 24 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches. Don't know how to knit a gauge swatch? Any LYS staff member can walk you though this! 
Materials Needed: US 6 - 32 inch circular needle or size to obtain gauge & the same size in DPNS. Stitch markers, stitch holders or water yarn, tapestry needle. Pattern - available on Ravelry.
Yarn: Lace Weight yarn 800 - 2200 yards depeneind on size. Shoppe sample is made from Road to China Lace. Also check out the Malabrigo lace and the new lace weight yarn from Hedge Hog Fibers.
You can also work in fingering wt. You will need to adjust needle size to obtain gauge.
