A note about Class, CLUB, CAL, & KAL materials. We require student to purchase their yarn for all classes, Crochet-alongs, Knit-alongs & Clubs at Longmont Yarn Shoppe. There are 2 main reasons for this:
- We recommend yarn we know you will have success with. Learning a new skill is much more rewarding using the proper tools and resources. When students use materials other than what is suggested we can't assure your success.
- Frankly, we exist only with your support. We need our community to shop with us so we can be here for the long haul. We bring in additional inventory to support classes, in anticipation of student purchases.

Each year the Alzheimer's Association challenges individuals to help fight the disease by raising funds and awareness for care, support, and research on the day with the most light. Ann will be popping in to 8 of her favorite local yarn shops via zoom. We invite you to participate in all gatherings June 23rd!

Ladderback jacquard stranding, originally developed & used for machine knitting, is a version of double-knitting with only a one-stitch column. This technique can used in the round or flat! It?s particularly useful for motifs in which a single color is carried more than an inch, or when you need a stretchy, flexible garment such as a hat or cowl. This technique is easy to learn & apply to any stranded colorwork pattern!
