Longmont Yarn Shoppe is going to
Wyoming on Retreat!
April 26-29, 2018
Join us for a getaway to the beautiful & historic town of Buffalo, Wyoming. We will be staying at the Historic Occidental Hotel
where you'll get to enjoy a bit of history while knitting or crocheting away in the Lobby (pictured below), the Library or the Tea Room. Each room has a bit of history attached to it. A place where Teddy Roosevelt, Butch Cassidy and Calamity Jane stayed, among many others, the Occidental will most definitely be a memorable place to spend a few days. We've planned a visit to Mountain Meadow Wool
where you'll get to tour the facility and hand-dye two of your own skeins to take home. There will be ample time to relax, enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea and knit or crochet. You can also tour main street and check out the town. We hope you will join us.REGISTER HERE
Please visit the Occidental website
to view the rooms. Rates vary from $80 to $135 a night. Please read room descriptions carefully as there is at least one that does not have a shower, only a tub (Hole-in-the-Wall Hideout) and the Bunkhouses are a shared bath.
The Cloud Peak is not available for reservations this weekend. The remaining rooms will be held until April 13th so please make your reservation early to secure your spot.
This is a very popular hotel and they are headed into their busy season. Once the rooms are released to the general public they will get snatched up quickly.
When making your reservation be sure to tell the staff you are part of the Longmont Yarn Shoppe Retreat.
