Crochet for Knitters

Some knitters don't like to crochet. I know of one knitter who doesn't even own a crochet hook. This baffled me as there are many good crochet applications that knitters can utilize to put a different flare into their knitting. Learning to wield a crochet hook will open the door to another cast on method, as well as bind off options. This class will cover the crocheted cast on, a couple of different ways to work a crocheted bind off, including a picot bind off using a crochet hook. We will cover the slip and single crochet. There will be a hand out with vocabulary explanation and pictures of the stitches.

I will bring crochet hooks for everyone to use. Crochet hooks are also handy for quickly making small repairs or picking up a dropped stitch.  If you decide to buy a hook after taking this class you can purchase from Longmont Yarn Shoppe and enjoy your student discount!
