Dyeing Safely

Kool aid dyeing truly is safe dyeing.  Even children can do this and still be safe.  The colors can be rich and vibrant and are permanent.  Dyeing your own fiber, yarn or fabric can change the way you create.  Dyeing gives you control over the colors you use.  In this class you will learn the basics of dyeing using Kool aid and even how to get repeatable results with Kool Aid.  When you leave Dyeing Safely you will take with you the knowledge you've just gained, your worksheets and a jar that is full of fiber and dye ready to set.

Materials List:

Bring 100g of fiber, yarn or fabric to class. The fiber can be in any form from clouds to roving. Yarn can be in a hank, ball or skein. We will talk about how the dye will act differently in each situation and you will have the chance to change it if you choose.

Apron if desired.
