Pappillion Butterfly Shawl KAL via Classroom

Knit this amazing stained glass looking short row shawl.  Participants will learn effective ways to work short rows and proper stitch count to achieve this work of art!  A minimum of 5 participants is required to run the KAL in the store.  Please sign up early.  

3 sessions -
1. Cast on learn short rows, stitch marker placement understanding pattern
2. Knit and address questions.
3. Finalize questions and discuss bind off options.

Materials List
Pattern - Butterfly Papillion
Long color changing yarn and one solid color yarn.  Recommend using very contrasting yarn.  Malabrigo Sock, Hue Loco Fingering, URTH UNEEK Fingering or Dream in Color.   
US 4 circular needle 30-40” cable or needle size to achieve gauge. 
Locking stitch markers.

Have your yarn chosen and wound prior to class.  Arrive at class with all materials, including the printed pattern.

This class is held in person at LYS in the classroom, practicing proper social distancing.

Skill Level: intermediate
Skill Details: Student should know how to knit, purl, cast on, bind off and be comfortable reading patterns.
Requirements: Yarn for KAL must be purchased at Longmont Yarn Shoppe.
