Come learn and practice lots of new stitches as you make an awesome, lightweight cowl you will love to wear!
You will learn the Picot Edge cast-on & bind-off, simple cables, twists, increases, and lots of other unique stitches you will use again and again as you increase your skills. In class, you will learn and practice the stitches on a small sample. You will then go home with your sample in hand and repeat the newly learned stitches while you make your cowl. Finally, you will return to class for the next pattern. There are four patterns in all, one per session.
This fun pattern tells a Colorado story from the bottom up: 1. Aspen Leaves, 2. Farm Rows and Circles, 3. Owls in the Aspen Grove, and 4. Flowers or Stars at the top. You have a choice of using 4 or 5 colors or making your cowl a solid color, all defined in the pattern.
Yarn Suggestions and yardage: Theodore’s Pearls Auxanometer, Noro Sonata or Greenwood Yakity Yak
