Bamboo-Along KAL via ZOOM

Join us at the Longmont Yarn Shoppe for a really special event - Bamboo-Along!
This four-part knit along, hosted by bamboo yarn designer Jennifer Miller of Theodora's Pearls, will feature your choice of four patterns designed for Auxanometer, bamboo fingering.  Kits for all projects are available at Longmont Yarn Shoppe.

Week 1 Let's cast on the Front Range Shawl (intermediate) featuring designer Donnie Herrington or the Your Slip is Showing shawl (intermediate) designed by Casapinka 

Week 2  Boho Shrug (easy) & Striations (easy), featuring designer Alissa Barton

Week 3  Jennifer will talk about her work with Bamboo; trouble shooting of patterns for KAL participants. 

Week 4 Trouble Shooting of patterns and Show and Tell.

Striations and Boho Shrug Kits in colors curated by Jennifer.  These kits include the book Bamboo Wraps:  Working with Bamboo Book 2 by Alissa Barton, with 4 patterns including Boho Shrug and Striations.  

Front Range Shawl Kits choose from a curated collection of 2 skeins kits.  Your pattern is included with the purchase of your kit.  Provide you Ravelry name when you purchase. 

Your Slip is Showing -choose from Jennifer's 6 skein gradient sets to create your perfect shawl, or shop from the Auxanometer collection of individual 115 gm skeins to create your own color combo.  This pattern is not included in the kit.  The pattern for Your Slip is Showing is sold separately.  

Needles and Auxanometer kits can be purchased at The Longmont Yarn Shoppe.
Use needles that are called for in the pattern.

About Bamboo Wraps:  Knitting with Bamboo Book 2 by Alissa Barton 

The second in our series of books on knitting with bamboo. This installment deals with wraps - larger projects designed to cover your shoulders and back in style. The Knitting Fairy designed and knitted each piece during her travels this summer, and so they are inspired by places she has seen. Each pattern is shown on three different women, giving you a chance to see how it looks on a variety of sizes and shapes.
