Twill on the Rigid Heddle Loom

Twill on the rigid heddle loom? Yes you can!

Come learn how to weave a variety of twill patterns on the rigid heddle loom using two heddles. Learn how to read harness loom drafts and convert them into drafts for the rigid heddle loom. This class will begin with a sampler learning to thread two 10 dent heddles at 10 ends per inch, read and convert floor loom drafts, and test out a variety of twill patterns.

Class will then progress into threading the loom again using Quaker Hill yarn to weave a scarf combining point and straight twill to get diamonds and zig zags all in one piece. The rigid heddle loom is capable of so many designs and this class will unlock a whole new range of patterns and endless hours of weaving fun
