Elegant Entrelac FIBER FRIDAY with Mary Scott Huff VIA ZOOM!



Explore the entrelac technique as you create a beautiful trinket bag. Worked in two colorways of long-repeat self-striping yarn, this project is the perfect introduction to entrelac knitting. Watch the yarn change colors as you knit, and soon you'll hear yourself say "Just one more block!"

Materials Worsted-weight long repeat self-striping yarn (such as Noro Kureyon), 1 ball each of 2 colorways

Pattern (included in class fee) - Entrelac Trinket Bag  will be sent to you upon registration. 

Shown Here: Noro Kureyon 100% Wool (50g/100m), Color 40 (MC; blue, aqua, violet) and Color 95 (CC; yellow, green, pink)

Needles 1 size 6 (4 mm) 16" (40 cm) circular needle 1 set size 6 (4 mm) DPN

Gauge 18 sts and 28 rows = 4" [10 cm] in st st

Notions 2 yds (2m) 3/8" (9mm) satin ribbon (Shown : Offray # 2447)

Optional: misc. beads & sequins, hand sewing needle & thread

Homework Work top edge of bag to point designated in pattern, before class meets.
