FIBER FRIDAY Time Saving Knitting with Holli Yeoh via ZOOM!
Knitting boils down to just knitting and purling. But it’s how you finesse those stitches and keep track of them. How you make those stitches and care for them. That’s what leads to the success and failure of your project. It also leads to how you feel about the knitting experience. It’s the little tricks along the way that add to the enjoyment factor. The more you enjoy it, the more you like the results, the more you want to knit. Enjoyment and fulfillment are what it’s all about.
In this class learn some time saving tricks that help you focus on the things you love about knitting.
This is a ONE TIME LIVE ZOOM EVENT that begins at 6 eastern, 5 central, 4 mountain, 3 pacific. Your zoom link will be sent the evening before class. Check your spam filter if you do not see it.
Skill Level: Beginner and beyond—you know how to cast on, bind off, knit and purl.
Bring:
unblocked swatch (optional; stitch pattern, gauge, and size don’t matter)
smooth worsted weight yarn and appropriately sized needles
measuring tape
stitch markers
notebook / pencil to take notes
basic knitter’s toolkit
Cable without a needle......
Use of different needle sizes.....
And many other trips and tricks will be shared by Holli!

| Instructor Bio: | Holli's passion for knitting has spanned a lifetime, from learning to knit as a child to her fine arts degree majoring in textiles and jewellery, and an almost 20-year designing career. A Holli Yeoh pattern is sure to offer something to learn, as well as a casually elegant aesthetic. Interesting techniques, clear instructions, and inclusive sizing ensure a rewarding knit with beautiful results, as featured in leading publications and her book Tempest. Holli feels strongly about fine craftsmanship, believing that while there's more than one right way to do things, it's important to do it right! To this end, she teaches skills that enable knitters to feel justified pride in their finished projects, while accommodating different knitting styles and preferences. Students leave her workshops with an arsenal of valuable techniques, deep understanding of the choices to be made in knitting, and new confidence.
