Turkish Bed Socks

These fabulous slipper socks are a fabulous addition to any wardrobe! Perfect as slippers for around the house, but also make great socks to where with your clogs or sneakers or golf shoes. Not your ordinary sock pattern the techniques for constructing the heel part of the sock is different then your traditional sock. A fun knit that makes a great gift for you or someone special.

Materials List:

1 skein of fingering wt yarn suitable for socks - using a lighter color yarn will make it easier to see your stitches

Suggested yarns include Malabrigo Ultimate Sock, Simply Sock Variegated or Semi Solid by Greenwood Fiberworks, Amble by The Fibre Co and Farmers Daughter Squish Fingering

Pattern Turkish Bed Socks - available on Ravelry Purchase in advance of class and bring with you. 

Size 3 DPNs - choose the length and style based on your comfort.  Bamboo/Patina needles will have more grip and may be easier to use as you learn. If you are comfortable with steel feel free to use those. The shorter the needle the bigger the chance of stitches falling off but a 6 inch needle will accomodate all the stitches.
