Boulder County's Fastest Knitter

So you think you're fast? Put yourself to the test at the 11th Annual Boulder County's Fastest Knitter and Crocheter Contest! This is a fun way to show off your skills, and to raise money for a local non-profit.

This year, Longmont Yarn Shoppe will be donating the proceeds from all entry fees to Longmont Humane Society.

Please bring your own size US 8 knitting needle. Yarn is provided.

Youth are invited to participate and can do Finger Knitting.

Rules: Adults are 12 years and older. Youth are up to age 11.

Prizes will be awarded based on weight of the yarn used to complete project. There can be no dropped stitches. Neatness of stitches will be used as a tie breaker if needed.

All Knitters must use a size 8 needle to knit a garter stitch square with worsted weight yarn.

Winners announced and prizes awarded after judging.
