Boulder County's Fastest Knitter
So you think you're fast? Put yourself to the test at the 8th Annual Boulder County's Fastest Knitter and Crocheter Contest! This is a fun way to show off your skills, and to raise money for a local non-profit: Longmont Humane Society
Longmont Yarn Shoppe will match every entry with another 5.00 per entry to this organization!
Please bring your own size US 8 knitting needle. Yarn is provided.
Youth are invited to participate and can do Finger Knitting.
Rules: Adults are 12 years and older. Youth are up to age 11.
Prizes will be awarded based on weight of the yarn used to complete project. There can be no dropped stitches.
All Knitters must use a size 8 needle to knit a garter stitch square with worsted wt yarn.
Winners announced and prizes awarded after judging.
