Needle Felted Blue Bird of Happiness (in person)

Come celebrate the return of spring with your own little bluebird. The bluebird has been a symbol of happiness and good fortune in many cultural traditions through history. This sweet little needle felted version is a perfect addition to have hanging around your home all year long. You’ll learn how to create an egg-shaped base form, making 3 dimensional shapes separately and joining to a base form, and cladding your base form with colors. Once you’ve made this little bird you can create a whole colorful flock of feathered friends.

The class kit contains a full color booklet,2 sizes of felting needles, beads for eyes and all the fiber needed to create the class project and is included in your class fee. 

Optional for student to bring:
Small sharp pointed scissors, large sewing needle, favorite felting needles and/or handles if have them and your favorite felting surface. 
We have foam surfaces students can borrow at class if they would like.
