Where in the Whorled? Demystify Spinning Wheel Ratios

In this class we will demystify spinning wheel ratios. The spinning wheel is an incredible tool. You will explore how to make the best use of the whorls and tension adjustments to make your spinning wheel spin the yarn you want.

Student should bring to class: 
Pen and paper or tablet for notes. A working spinning wheel,all your whorls and drive band material to match the size of your whorls. Bring 4 oz of your favorite fiber or fiber you would like to experiment with.

Homework:
Spin on your wheel and get warmed up. We will not have time to fix problems with your wheel. Practice being nice to yourself and giving yourself lots of space to learn.
