3 Color Cowl to Steek (In Person)

Complete a Fair Isle style cowl and learn how to steek for a buttoned closure. Lean how to complete stranded knitting using 2 hands and then learn how to steek, finishing touches for your steek and add a button band. Will make a great gift for yourself or a friend!
This is a 3 session class
Session 1- Cast on and learn 2 handed knitting
Session 2 - Knit and trouble shoot questions
Session 3 - Steek and pick up for button band and button holes.
Materials:
Pattern: No Alcohol Fortification Needed Cowl
Yarn- 3 colors (light, medium, dark) of DK weight yarn, preferably wool or alpaca, no superwash. Suggested yarns are: Norwegian Wool, Quaker Hill by Plymouth Yarn
US size 4 16" circular needle or size to obtain gauge
Crochet hook, waste yarn, buttons, tapestry needle, sharp scissors.

HOMEWORK:
Obtain the pattern and have colorwork yarn and contrasting color determined before class begins. Complete entire ribbing section prior to class. Follow these modified instructions for the ribbing pattern.
