CANCELED Houndstooth Plaid Scarf on the Table/Harness Loom
Come learn to weave a classic twill structure, houndstooth plaid! This project based class will continue to develop your harness loom skills by learning to warp and weave with two colors. Weaving the houndstooth scarf will help improve selvedge management while working with a floating selvedge, reading drafts, creating twill structures and learning more about color and weave. Bamboo Pop is a wonderful combination of soft and drapey yet strong giving the houndstooth plaid structure a great crisp and clean look.
Supplies: 15” or larger table loom, two shuttles (stick or boat), reed hook, heddle hook, paper or corrugated cardboard for winding onto the loom, scissors, measuring tape.
If students would like to rent a table loom please note that in your registration. We have 4 looms available to rent for 30.00 from the first day of class until 1 week after class ends.
