Point Twill Table Runner
Continue to build your harness loom threading options by learning how to create points in your twill! In class students will create point twill table runners using 3/2 perle cotton. This variation on threading the warp allows for the creation of diamonds as well as horizontal zig zags. Drafts will be provided for using diamonds, zig zags, or a combination of the two.
Supplies:
Table Loom (LYS has a limited number of looms available for rental - please note if you need a rental in your registration)
10 or 12 dent reed
Reed hook
Paper/ corrugated cardboard for winding onto the loom
Scissors
Tape measure
Boat shuttle with bobbin or stick shuttle
Yarn: 3/2 perle cotton in 2 - 3 colors (870 yds total)
