Learn to Crochet Level 2 - Working in Rows (in person)

You have just started crocheting and have gotten the hang of making chain and some single crochet stitches. Now it is time to learn some more stitches and some of the fun ways those stitches can be combined. The class project is a small drawstring bag that is perfect to hold a few treasures.

You’ll learn how to work the single, half double, double and treble crochet stitches in rows. We will also cover sewing and crocheting your crochet pieces together, weaving in your tails, and tips on reading and working from crochet patterns.

Class kit will include a full color booklet with patterns and instructions, yarn for class project and 4 locking stitch markers.

Students will need to bring a crochet hook size G or H.

Students enjoy a 10% materials discount on class supplies. Use code STUDENT10 at check out.

Your project: This fun little bag can hold treasures or be a great "soap saver" or "shower bag" that can hold bits of broken soap bars or a whole bar and use as a washcloth in the shower or bath

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Minimal beginning crochet skills like how to hold the hook and yarn while crocheting, comfortable with making a slip knot and starting a chain, some experience with single crochet stitch.
Materials Included: Everything but your crochet hook is included in the class fee.
Instructor: Andee Graves
Instructor Bio: Andee Graves is a crochet designer, writer, teacher and artist living in the mountains of Colorado with her family and an evolving menagerie of 4-legged friends. She combines a life-long passion for crocheting, sewing, and crafting with a strong interest in mathematics and medical science. She is endlessly intrigued by the "magic" of creating fabric or an object from nothing but hook and string, and invites you to join her in a class to expand your own crochet and crafting journey.
