Needle Felting in 3-D (in person)
Perhaps you've needle-felted flat embellishment pieces, but haven’t tried sculptural work? Needle felting is a great
fiber art for creating sculptural pieces. It is a wonderful medium for making everything from toys to jewelry to art. The

possibilities are endless! Come join Andee Graves for this fun class on working in 3D with needle felting.
Learn everything you need to use your felting needle safely and ergonomically; creating different shapes from loose
fiber and joining them together to make an object that can stand up; using a "frame” to create the base of your 3D
pieces; making both “hard” and “soft” felt; and embellishing your sculpture with yarn, beads, and fabric.
The class kit contains a full color booklet, 2 oz of plain wool roving,
.17 oz each of 6 different colored wool roving, 2 felting needles (size
40 and 38), a variety of embellishments to experiment with.
Provided for student use: felting surfaces for in-person students to use
during class, and students will have various tools to try out.
Students can bring any Needle felting tools they have.
