Basic Drop Spindle - One Session Class

Join Darla and Mark from Warp and Woolens to explore spinning with a drop spindle. Learn how to use a top whorl, bottom whorl or Turkish spindle, from making a leader, to spinning, and plying. You'll be amazed at how fun and easy it is to make your own yarn! 

Materials: 

Bring a spindle, or purchase a spindle from LYS  

Roving will be provided, Mark and Darla will show you which roving will be good for beginners to work with.

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes 

DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled. 

If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email. 

Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.

Refund Policy for LYS Classes 

If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting. 

See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes: 

• At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund 

• 24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit 

• Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund. 

Student no-shows are also not eligible for a refund.
