A Taste of Machine Knitting (in person)

Curious about machine knitting? This class will give you the opportunity to decide if machine knitting is for you before committing to the investment in equipment. Or maybe you inherited a machine and you would like to learn to use it. This class is for you!

You'll learn how to cast on and bind off, how to increase and decrease, and how to troubleshoot errors (which WILL occur, just like in hand knitting). You will see samples of what is possible with a knitting machine and develop an understanding of how using a machine can enhance your hand knitting.

This class is limited to 3 students. A minimum of 3 students will be required to host this class.

Your class fee includes yarn for learning plus use of knitting machine during class. Should you have your own machine you would like to use, please put in the notes when you register what machine and brand you have and we'll share it with our instructors to confirm it will work!

Those who are bringing their own machine we encourage you to reach out to one of our instructors about the machine you are bringing.
