Musselburgh Hat (in person)

Is it time to learn some new skills while also making a great winter wardrobe staple? Then come make the incredibly popular Musselburgh Hat – it has almost 9,000 projects on Ravelry! In class we will discuss the pinhole cast-on, changing colors, tips for working in the round, and any other questions you may have to get you on your way to creating this simple but very versatile pattern.

Materials: Must be purchased at LYS.

Heavy laceweight to DK wt yarn as specified in the pattern. Check out Hat Kits by Theodora's Pearls.

16 " circular needle and Double Pointed Needles OR long, circulars if you prefer to Magic Loop - size as specified for your weight of yarn in the pattern
Stitch markers

Yarn must be purchased at Longmont Yarn Shop.  Students receive a 10% discount, use code STUDENT10 online or at checkout in the shop.

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes 

DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled. 

If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email. 

Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.

Refund Policy for LYS Classes 

If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting. 

See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes: 

• At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund 

• 24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit 

• Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund.
