Beginner's Brioche: The Collective Shawl
perfect second brioche pattern, or good if you'd like to try brioche for the first time. This shawl works up quickly due to the short
sections and will keep you going to the end of this addictive, fun technique. The class will meet twice if needed, but you may find
one session is enough to get you on your way.
Materials List:
Pattern: The Collective Shawl by Joji Locatelli found on Ravelry
1 skein of fingering wt yarn
5-6 Mini Skeins in colors with high contrast to your main color, such as Manos del Uruguay Fino or Emma's Yarn Theme Packs or Greenwood Fiber Mini Skein packs.
If you have 5 colors you will repeat your 1st or 2nd color and will still have enough yarn.
US 4 circular needle
HOMEWORK prior to class - Knit the "beginning" section from the pattern with your main color so you can work the brioche during class.
