Westknits 2023 Mystery Shawl Knit Along (MKAL) via ZOOM with Kathy!

Join LYS friends near and far for the biggest Knit-A-long in the universe! The Westknits Mystery Shawl Knit Along (MKAL) occurs each fall. Sign ups launch in September as we collect colors to knit a surprise shawl pattern.

We knit together throughout the month of October and Westknits releases a section of the pattern each week until the final design is revealed. Stephen West leads a tutorial on the stitches and techniques for each section, so the shawl is do-able by an adventurous beginner and great fun for experienced knitters. You will be encouraged to develop your creativity!

The Mystery Shawl is a complete surprise, so when you sign up you just know what types of yarn you need and then Westknits entertains you with a beautiful show-stopping shawl.

Our class will include a Cast-On Party, and 3 progress knit-along sessions. As well, we will interact on the LYS Ravelry page, and I will coach you in joining the HUGE MKAL on Stephen’s Ravelry page.

Secure your pattern on Ravelry in advance of the KAL to find out yarn requirements and needles recommended.  Pattern will be released in September on Stephen's Ravelry Page which you can find here!
