Cancelled: Joining Your Granny Squares with Andee (in person)

In this class you will learn 4 different methods for joining squares together: Sewing 2 crochet joins and a join-as-you-go method.  We will also cover how to weave in all those ends to create a fabric that is both beautiful and long wearing, plus tricks for blocking and edging your granny square project.  For those that want, Andee will show how the 16 squares from the homework can be made into a bag. 

HOMEWORK TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE CLASS:
Using “Helen’s Yarn Adventures” pattern, students need to make 4 squares that are 3 Rounds each and 12 squares that are 4 Rounds each.

These are for practice so you can make your squares all in one color if desired. Leave your tails loose on at least 2 of the squares to practice the end weaving techniques in the class.

Yarn: Berro10co Ultra Wool, Malabrigo Rios a smooth worsted weight.
Hook: size H//5mm or I/5.5mm
Darning or Tapestry needle for sewing in ends and sewing squares

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes 

DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled. 

If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email. 

Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.

Refund Policy for LYS Classes 

If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting. 

See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes: 

• At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund 

• 24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit 

• Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund. 

Student no-shows are also not eligible for a refund.
