Needle Felt a Fall Squirrel (in person)
Learn the basics of needle felting and bring home this adorable red squirrel! We will begin with building an armature with wire, and then cover the armature with fluffy roving to make a lifelike creature. Features like how to get lifelike eyes, realistic ears and getting the extremities just right will be covered. This squirrel will have a welcome spot in your home.
Materials needed- Please purchase your kit at the time of class registration to assure that you have a kit for class. Use the code STUDENT10 at checkout to save 10% on your class supplies.
Red Squirrel Needle Felting Kit by The Crafty Kit Company
This kit has everything you need to create your squirrel including 2 needle felting needles and a foam surface. (note - there is no pinecone in the kit, but there should be plenty on the ground in November!)
If you have a preferred felting surface and felting tools you are welcome to bring them to class.
