Sweater Club via ZOOM FEB/MAR 2026
CLASS DESCRIPTION
Afraid to tackle that sweater alone? We have the answer: Sweater Club! Theresa will facilitating 3 months of community, 6 gatherings on ZOOM, 1 sweater, and lots of fun with two patterns by two accomplished knitters, Aurealis by Jennifer Steingass, and Cinnamon & Bourbon by Thea Colman. You choose which designer’s pattern you want to knit. If you've been following us on Facebook or in our Newsletter you have heard about Sweater Club- this is your opportunity to join!
The dates for the KAL are Tuesdays February 10, February 24, March 10th, March 24th, April 14th and April 28th starting at 4:15pm moutain time. This is a KAL, not a class delivered via Zoom. This means there is no formal instruction. Sweater club meets from 6:15-8:15 eastern, 5:15-7:15 central, 4:15-6:15 mountain and 3:15-5:15 pacific on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month. Meetings are not recorded.
Your zoom link will be sent the evening before the KAL. If you do not see it please check your spam filter.
Club members are responsible for obtaining their pattern in advance of our meetings and obtaining materials based on the pattern for their chosen sweater.
THE PATTERNS
Choose either the Cinnamon & Bourbon Sweater by Thea Colman OR the Aurealis Sweater by Jen Steingass.
Homework – Choose one of the above pattern options and gather all of your supplies including the pattern itself and your chosen yarn. If you need assistance with yarn choices or have questions about your pattern please reach out to the staff at Longmont Yarn Shoppe.
If you have time, it is helpful to prepare a 4x4 blocked swatch to our first session.
Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes
Disclaimer: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled.
If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email.
Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.
Refund Policy for LYS Classes
If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting.
See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes:

At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund

24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit

Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund.
Student no-shows are also not eligible for a refund.
