Intro to Sock Knitting Fiber Friday with Carissa Browning via ZOOM!
Dip your toes into sock knitting! This class will walk you though each step int he process of creating a simple sock from the cuff down using a tiny baby sock as practice.
Materials:
100 yards of worsted wt yarn
US 6/4mm needles for small circumference knitting (choice of DPNs, 2 circs, 1 long circular
Locking Stitch Marker
Scissors
Tapestry Needle

Class starts at 6 eastern, 5 central, 4 mountain and 3 pacific and is recorded. Students will be sent the recording within 24 hours of the class and have access to view the recording for one week.

| Instructor Bio: | Carissa lives and knits in the Dallas, Texas area, where she has accepted the futility of stitching cozy woolen sweaters and has perhaps overcompensated with a three-month supply of hand knit socks. With a background in math, she particularly enjoys playing with geometry and developing new methods of constructing familiar shapes and patterns using knitted or crocheted fabric. |
