(Canceled) My First Amigurumi (In Person)

There are loads of fun crochet toy patterns out there, also known as Amigurumi. You have started crocheting and know how to make chains and single crochet stitches in rows, and now you are ready to tackle those amigurumi patterns. Come take this class with Andee and learn the skills as well as tips and tricks to make an amigurumi while making a Cute Lil Monster or 2 to take home with you. You’ll add to your stitch toolbox by learning how to work popcorn and cluster stitches, working in continuous rounds, increasing and decreasing, embroidery basics and attaching safety or button eyes.

Perfect for ages 12 and up!

Students will need a size H or size 7 crochet hook, and scissors.

Teacher will have hooks and scissors for students to use during class.

Your class fee includes a supply kit.

Your kit contains everything you need to make 2 Little Monsters 

• Cute Lil Monster Pattern
• Worsted weight yarn - Berroco Ultra Wool
• 2 balls different colors 15 yds each
• Eyes: 2 - 6 mm safety eyes, Black yarn for embroidering eyes and 2 - 3/8 inch 4-hole buttons
• 2 yards contrasting yarn for embroidering mouth
• Approximately 1/3 oz of fiber fill stuffing
• Yarn needle for sewing pieces together
• 1 locking stitch marker

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes 

DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled. 

If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email. 

Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.

Refund Policy for LYS Classes 

If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting. 

See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes: 

• At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund 

• 24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit 

• Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund. 

Student no-shows are also not eligible for a refund.
