FIBER FRIDAY Stockholm to NY Cowl with Faina Goberstein at FIBER FRIDAY

Working on the actual pattern of Stockholm to NY cowl is a fun way to get to know slip-stitch knitting. This cowl is worked in the round from bottom up. The two colors used help to accentuate the stripes that showcase a mix of Stockinette, Garter, and a traditional slip-stitch pattern called Waffles. It is a very exciting class that opens a whole world of stitches that are easy to knit and at the same time making a fashion statement.
The class project covers
- Knitting in the round
- Working with two colors and taming the jog
- Traditional slip-stitch pattern
- Traditional decreases evenly spaced
- Shaping with needle change
- Reading written instructions
- How to read a chart
You will learn how to make modifications of this pattern to fit the needed circumference of the yoke in your size.
Choose your own colors that are vibrant enough to pop when put together.
We will talk about all what is needed for making this beautiful project, try all the techniques involved and see many swatches and samples from The Art of Slip-Stitch Knitting and more designed by Faina Goberstein.
This is a Live One Time Zoom event at 6 Eastern, 5 Central, 4 Mountain, 3 Pacific
