Latvian Braids Class W/Christie (In Person)

 This class is being offered along with the Intro to Colorwork Class, so you can take this as a stand alone class or register for both to be used in the same project.  There are so many applications for this technique, you'll love dressing any project up!  Learn a new technique with a skilled teacher and in a welcoming, creative community.

A charted pattern will be provided during class for the colorwork section to take home and complete mitten.

Materials: 2 contrasting colors of mostly wool yarn.  The pattern is written for fingering weight, but you can choose any weight you like, although your mitten will be larger if you use a thicker weight.
Needles for small circumference knitting in a size appropriate for your yarn.

Homework: Cast on prior to class.

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes 

DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled. 

If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email. 

Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.

Refund Policy for LYS Classes 

If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting. 

See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes: 

• At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund 

• 24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit 

• Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund. 

Student no-shows are also not eligible for a refund.
