Doodle A Cowl: Knit Your First Doodle Cowl

Description: During this class, you will incorporate the Doodle patterns or cards to create you choice of an infinity cowl, or a two sided cowl.  Jennifer will guide you through the process of mapping out the pattern to create and knit your pattern. 

Session 1: Jennifer will explain how the doodles kits work and how you use them in a project.  You will go over modifications to patterns, as well as the use of other systems. Then you will plan the layout of the cowl, choose your colors and begin knitting your project. 

Homework between Sessions will be to complete as much of the cowl as possible and learn the Kitchner bind off for finishing the project.
Session 2: Troubleshoot any problems, answer questions, tie off ends and do the Kitchner bind off for completion.

Homework prior to class: get started, do the provisional cast on for your desired cowl.  The Infinity cowl is free the 2 sided cowl can be purchased on the Pacific Knits Website. One or more doodle decks (digital, paper, or the decks, circular needle as indicated in pattern and a tapestry needle for session 2.

All material purchased for class at LYS are discounted 10%. Student10 is used at check out online and in the shop.

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes 

DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled. 

If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email. 

Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.

Refund Policy for LYS Classes 

If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting. 

See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes: 

• At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund 

• 24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit 

• Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund. 

Student no-shows are also not eligible for a refund.
