Learn to Knit Socks! W/Christie (In Person)

This class will cover all the skills needed using any of the Rye sock pattern from Tincan Knits over 3 weeks, and by the end you will be able to make endless pairs for everyone with feet.  These socks are knit top-down and feature a heel flap and gusset construction.  This class is for advanced beginners to intermediate knitters.  If you are a slower knitter or have less time, pick a smaller size from the pattern, and you can easily keep up with the class and still learn all the skills.

Skills: Versed in basic knitting techniques to follow the pattern you choose.

Pattern: Rye Sock from Tincanknits or Rye Sock DK also from Tincanknits 

Materials: Yarn and needles that match the pattern you picked. DK yarn with some nylon or acrylic content, or sock yarn held double.

Needles: Your preferred sock-knitting needles, either DPN's or 9" circulars, or a 32" circular for the magic loop

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes 

DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled. 

If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email. 

Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.

Refund Policy for LYS Classes 

If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting. 

See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes: 

• At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund 

• 24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit 

• Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund. 

Student no-shows are also not eligible for a refund.
