FULL/CLOSED: Intro to Colorwork (In Person) W/Christie/ Intermediate Level.
Knitters should have basic knit and purl stitches, be able to increase and decrease, read a pattern, and knit in the round. By the end of the session students will be able to complete this beautiful hat. We will actually cover knitting in 3 different ways, including a method where you use just one color at a time. Class will start with colorwork discussion and reading charts and how to choose yarn well suited to colorwork.
Homework: Gather supplies and Knit the ribbing portion of this hat in Main Color.
Materials:
Pattern: You will need to purchase the Alpine Bloom Hat pattern from Ravelry.
Yarn: 2 Contrasting sport yarn colors, stitch markers, and needles specified in pattern. DK Vintage for main color dk or sport yar. and Edition 3 Sport, Twisp, Road to China Light, Metalico Sport, Rylie Sport or Ecopuno.
Needles: US 5 16" and US 3 16" circular.

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes
DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled.
If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email.
Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.
Refund Policy for LYS Classes
If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting.
