KIDS! In and Out Scarf (In Person)

Are you ready to learn how to increase and decrease when crocheting rows of double crochet? This fun scarf class is perfect for you. The playful shaping along the scarf edges is created by working increases and decreases that make hexagon shapes stacked on top of each other. This scarf looks beautiful using a solid color or is great project for using colorful hand-dyed yarns and yarns with long graduated color changes.

In class we will cover perfecting your double crochet stitch, increases and decreases in double crochet, and how to make a simple fringe edge using your crochet hook.

Materials Needed: Smooth Worsted Weight yarns in light to medium colors for students to purchase (recommend Berroco Ultra Wool or Vintage). Size I and J crochet hooks. Locking stitch markers (Ideally Clover Brand).
Will have hooks and stitch markers for students to use during class. Better if they have their own to use at home between class sessions.

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes 

DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled. 

If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email. 

Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.

Refund Policy for LYS Classes 

If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting. 

See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes: 

• At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund 

• 24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit 

• Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund. 

Student no-shows are also not eligible for a refund.
