KIDS! Simple Fingerless Mitts (In Person)

Cold weather is coming and everyone can use some fingerless mitts to keep their hands cozy while they are using their phones or tablets. These simple mitts are a great project for making your own mitts or as a gift for someone else. Best of all you will learn how to make mitts that are just the right size using your hand or your giftee’s hand.

Perfect for kids ages 9-13 and up!

Skills Focused On: Crochet – Beginner+ ; Pattern reading, working in rows, half double crochet stitch, and finishing skills.

Materials Needed: 150+ yards smooth worsted weight yarn in light/medium colors; Crochet hooks – Size H (5 mm) and I (5.5 mm); 2 Locking Stitch markers; Blunt yarn needle for weaving in ends and sewing.

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes 

DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled. 

If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email. 

Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.

Refund Policy for LYS Classes 

If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting. 

See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes: 

• At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund 

• 24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit 

• Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund. 

Student no-shows are also not eligible for a refund.
