Beginner's Stitch Sampler Scarf W/Christie In Person

The pattern is easily broken into sections that teach you a new stitch pattern every class, with a manageable amount of homework. The stitches included in the scarf are garter, stockinette, seed, basket weave, smooth sand stitch and ribbed stitch.  In the end you will have made a nice large scarf to keep or a gift.  All the stitches you learn are basic to many patterns and you will have added them to your skills, and can branch out from there.
The 4 classes are scheduled 2 weeks apart with plenty of time to complete a section or two learned in the class.

Materials: Two balls of worsted weight yarn, such as Ultra Wool or two skeins of yarn such as Malabrigo Rios or Vintage.
Needles: US 8 either straight or circular 16" or 24"

Cancellation Policy for LYS Classes 

DISCLAIMER: Class may be cancelled if less than 3 students are enrolled. 

If LYS cancels the class, payment for your class will be refunded in full or can be transferred to another upcoming class. If we do need to cancel your class for low enrollment, the decision will be made 24 hours in advance and students will be notified by phone and/or email. 

Class may also be cancelled for inclement weather or instructor illness. Students will be notified by phone if this happens and can attend the rescheduled class or have their class fee returned 100%.

Refund Policy for LYS Classes 

If you need to return your class enrollment for a refund for any reason, we completely understand! Sometimes things pop up and life gets in the way of our crafting. 

See the time table below for eligible refunds on LYS classes: 

• At least 72 hours prior notice — 100% refund 

• 24 - 72 hours prior notice — 50% refund for store credit 

• Less than 24 hours prior notice — Not eligible for a refund.
