Fade Your Fun...How to Combine Multiple Surprising Colors in Innovative Ways VIA ZOOM
Many knitting patterns include instructions for fading from one colorway to the next. Fading is a great way to use up partial balls of yarn, to create unique, beautiful knitwear, and to combine colors that seem to have nothing in common! These techniques are excellent for newer and sometimes challenging hand-dyes: high-contrast handpaints, speckle-dyes,and very short color repeat space-dyes.
This class will show multiple ways to creatively combine contrasting colorways in garments and accessories! This class provides information, examples, and techniques on striping, striping-in or gradual color shifts, seed stitch and seed-variation fades, and fading in a mitered square, and more.
