How Crafting Improves Wellbeing VIA ZOOM!

You already know your yarn and fiber tools make you happy. But did you know they can also improve your mental, emotional, and yes even physical health? In this fun, interactive lecture-style class we’ll learn what researchers have discovered about overall wellbeing and how we can use our favorite hobby to tap into some of these benefits. You’ll learn several practices you can do anytime on your own to bring more awareness, self-compassion, and joy to your life. AND you’ll learn how to choose a project to maximize the mental benefits of crafting!

The class fee is 20.00, but no one will be turned away due to financial concerns. Call the LYS to register if you need to make use of the sliding scale and let them know what you need to pay, down to $0.

Please bring to class a pen or pencil and paper, an easy handwork project of your choice (knitting, crochet, embroidery, etc.), a hot drink, and whatever else you need to settle in and feel comfortable.

This class is held on Zoom. Your zoom link will be sent the evening before. If you do not see it check your Spam Filter.
