Coiled Jewelry 101

This class will utilize the coiling technique with fine yarn over Fiberflex to create a necklace of your design with a waxed linen neckpiece and adjustable closure. Students MUST have fine motor skills and ability to use small needles.  A kit with the Fiberflex and waxed linen will be provided.  Other supplies should be purchased before the class.

Your included kit has: 

4 ft 4/32 Fiberflex

2 yards waxed linen

 
Materials the student needs to gather and bring to class:

Small skeins Sock weight or fingering weight yarn (2 colors)

Small size tapestry needle (straight)

Beading needle

Large eye darning-size needle

Aileen’s glue

Sharp small-ish scissors
