Machine Knitting! Knit a Beanie in 3 hours (in person)
A knitting machine makes short work of this cozy beanie. Using a Silver Reed LK-150, you’ll learn how to knit a gauge swatch in ten minutes, cast on, hang a hem, and how to decrease crown stitches. Once you learn these techniques, you’ll be able make the hat in fair isle, slip, or tuck/brioche stitch. And it knits up so quickly, you’ll have time to make one for everyone on your gift list!
Machine knitting experience is not required, though it’s helpful.
Your seat fee includes yarn for hat- Brown Sheep Prairie Spun DK wt yarn and use of a LK 150 machine during class.
A minimum of 3 students is required to host this class.
