Join us on Friday March 10th as we welcome Diana Wiley, the founder of Handspun Hope and Jolene Stokesberry, Partner Relationship Manager for Handspun Hope as they introduce us to the mission and products of this amazing organization.

Handspun Hope supports over 200 women in Rwanda to work in community and live a life of purpose and through fiber arts - whether it be by spinning or dyeing wool & cotton, knitting finished garments or tending the animals women are given a chance to earn a living wage and have access to resources we often take for granted. They create lovingly made felted ornments and stunning yarns in a variety of weights and bases for us to enjoy.  A sample of each yarn will be on hand to "try out"- a yarn tasting of sorts. Should we have any remaining Box of Hope kits available that evening you can purchase those as well.  

Diana and Jolene will meet and greet at 5 pm at the round table of LYS followed by a slide show presentation at 6 pm during Evening Handwork!
