Blending with Handcards

Join Stephanie for a soiree with your existing fibers to blend them into new and interesting combinations. We will discuss how to blend different fibers on handcards as well as keeping records to make your blends repeatable. Come and breather new life into some of your stash that you many have fallen out of love with. 

Homework: Make sure your wheel is in working order.

Materials: Bring at least three different rovings, top or washed fleece totaling 5-6 ounces. Bring your handcards (some will be available to borrow during class or you can purchase some from LYS) and a spindle or working spinning wheel including everything you need to spin a sample.
