Embroidering on Knitting via ZOOM!
Add some decoration to your hand knits using embroidery. No embroidery experience is required and soon you’ll be adding color and dimension to your knitting projects. In class, you’ll earn the Backstitch, Split, Stem, Lazy Daisy, French Knots and the Bullion Knot.
Before class, knit an 8-inch by 8-inch swatch using a light-colored worsted wool or wool blend yarn. During class, you’ll need a yarn darning needle and at least 6 yards of different colors of worsted wool or wool blend yarn.
Yarn recommendations: Berroco Ultra Wool, Shepherd’s Wool, Encore Worsted Yarn
Darning Needle: John James Tapestry Needle #16, Clover Chibi Needles
Homework prior to class: Knit an 8-inch by 8-inch swatch using a light-colored worsted wool or wool blend
