Double Heddle Weaving via ZOOM with Sara Goldenberg White

Double Heddle Weaving

Learn how to maximize the potential of rigid heddle weaving by using two heddles at once!
In this class students will learn how to weave two layers of cloth at once to create a closed tube or to get double width fabric. If you are looking to weave wider pieces, double heddle weaving will open that door allowing weavers to weave twice the width of their loom!
Using two heddles at once also opens the door to working with finer yarns allowing for 20 or 24 ends per inch. Using two heddles is also a great place to dive into twill patterns. This class will cover it all, double width fabric, increased ends per inch and twill weaving!

Rigid heddle loom with the ability to hold two heddles
