Contiguous Sleeve Sweater Knitting with Isabell Kraemer via ZOOM!
Join us as we welcome back one of our favorite knitwear designers, Isabell Kraemer, to Longmont Yarn Shoppe via Zoom for a classroom & KAL experience in knitting a contiguous set in sleeve sweater!
In our first meeting Isabell will give a brief overview on contiguous sleeve sweater construction, and show the collection of sweaters to choose from. She will talk about possible yarn choices and styles to flatter various body types. It is suggested that sweater selection and yarn purchases/decisions be made after the first meeting.
In the second session Isabell will dive into the contiguous sleeve sweater construction deeper, to find the spots where adjustments could be made. Students ideally would have selected their pattern and had their yarn choice swatched. The second session is where Isabell can point out how to spot the parts of their pattern where they may have to adjust the pattern and such until we 'meet' the next time.
The third meeting Isabell is on hand to answer specific questions as we meet in more of a KAL format. Our last meeting in March is a Sweater Celebration to see all the finished sweaters! Students from previous Contiguous Sleeve Sweater classes will be invited to celebrate as well.
Choose from Isabell's collection of patterns that feature this construction and learn in a classroom setting the tips and tricks for success!! Students must choose a contiguous sleeve pattern to participate in this class, since that is the focus of the content.

Participants must purchase their yarn through Longmont Yarn Shoppe for this class. It is suggested that yarn choice be made after the first class. Students enjoy a 10% materials discount.

| Instructor Bio: | Isabell is a qualified dressmaker who became a knitwear designer almost by accident! People kept asking her how she made things, so she published her notes on her blog. When she discovered Ravelry she gradually started to publish more and more designs. It wasn?t long before she had gained a large and dedicated following for her fresh, modern, and comfortable sweaters and accessories. Thoroughly modern, she keeps a low profile a Ravelry page but no website but reaches knitters around the world by publishing her patterns in multiple languages, including English, German, French, Italian, Danish, and Spanish. She lives in a small town in southern Germany but travels far and wide, to teach and for pleasure. Isabell?s designs have been published in Laine Magazine, Amirisu and Vogue Knitting. She has also produced beautiful designs for Malabrigo Yarns, Quince & Co and Swans Island, all in her signature streamlined and contemporary style.
