Freedom for Ukraine Gnome Kit - Knit

This kit will make a boatload of gnomes that can be shared to remind everyone how precious freedom is and why the fight for freedom is important. Everyone deserves to enjoy freedom.

This kit includes 3 skeins of Lana Loft Worsted 100 gm balls by Brown Sheep in 3 colors: Cottage White, Lemon Pound Cake & Big Surf Blue plus a coupon code for the pattern Gno Fun Like Gnome Fun by designer Sarah Schira of Imagined Landscapes. 

Brown Sheep is filling this order and donating the shipping to Longmont Yarn Shoppe at no charge.  Brown Sheep is doing us a special favor making coned yarn into balls for this initiative.  

The pattern coupon code has been donated by Sarah, and the 3 skeins of yarn have been donated by Longmont Yarn Shoppe.  100% of the proceeds from the first 50 KNIT OR CROCHET Freedom kits will be donated to Doctors Without Borders and earmarked for Ukraine efforts. After the first 50 kits are sold 20% of the sales of Freedom Kits will be donated to UKRAINE.

Not included: Stuffing, toothpick and dab of glue for flag, and US 5 DPNs

Flag instructions:  With yellow yarn cast on 7 stitches using long tail cast on. Knit 3 rows in garter stitch. Switch to blue yarn. Knit 3 rows in garter stitch and bind off.  Weave in ends. Weave toothpick along edge and insert in place. A small dab of glue will keep the flag in place. Let your gnome wave that flag!
