Send Hugs and Kisses Cowl

Designed by Donnie Herrington for the Longmont Yarn Shoppe's 10 year anniversary in 2022. The yarn is sourced locally from Gail's sister's Wabi Sabi Farm in Wellington, Colorado, Beatrix (white) and Voodoo (brown) are two of the finest alpaca in the herd!!

Hugs and kisses are usually reserved for the most dear to us. Our siblings, parents, and partners. Our closest of friends, and our chosen family members. It is knit flat, in texture, stripes, and a mosaic motif. Then, joined by a Kitchener graft. The Send Hugs and Kisses cowl pattern is simple enough to allow you to think about a loved one while knitting, yet gives you some interest with interruptions of color changes, and a fun mosaic pattern. Use this pattern for mindful, or contemplative knitting. Let the process of the knitting be as meaningful as the finished product.

Included in the kit:
2 skeins of Wabi Sabi fingering (80% alpaca, 20% bamboo)

You will also need:
24"-32" size 5 circular knitting needle
An extra needle for the Kitchener graft at the end
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
