This is a Live One Time Event on Friday October 30th at 6 Eastern, 5 Central, 4 Mountain, 3 Pacific.

Learn about bead crochet with experts Bert Rachel Freed and Dana Freed Freed Fiddes, authors of Bead Crochet Jewelry: An Inspired Journey Through 27 Designs. Bert and Dana will demonstrate the basics of bead crochet—chain stitch with beads—a technique that can be used to create beautiful jewelry that looks complicated but is actually very easy!

They will also discuss more advanced techniques (like circular crochet) while sharing their story, inspiration, and designs. Their mission is to encourage everyone to make something with their hands and believe a job done with one’s hands and heart is always a job Well Done!

Their story:   In 2006, Bert and Dana founded their business, The Well Done Experience to share their passion for beading and creative expertise through teaching, instructions, and original kits. Since then, they have taught workshops and to countless students both nationally and internationally. In keeping with their mission of sharing, a percentage of their proceeds are donated each year to a very special charity that embodies their philosophy. The Freshman Fifteen is an organization that provides underprivileged students who have been accepted to college on scholarship with everything they need for dorm living.

They have sold their handmade jewelry at The Museum of Arts and Design in Columbus Circle, as well as other smaller boutiques and galleries in New York and in Europe. In 2018 they launched Park & Lex with a third partner, a new line of jewelry combining fine elements like 14k gold and gemstones with their signature beadwork.
